Although Adelaide Street is still on the Redditch map today, acting only as a feeder road of the Ringway it is very much lost and forgotten.  It gets few mentions in contemporary history books and rarely features in pictorial history books.

The 1903 map shows it running from the bottom of Bates Hill to Hemmings Entry with just properties on the Bates Hill end west side.
