Wife Eliza (25) On the 1861 census John was living with his parents John and Maria in Alcester Street but no numbers stated on the early census but John Guest Snr was known to be the Licensee of the "Rising Sun" 29 Alcester Street at this time. On the 1881 census they lived at 12 Alcester Street but no numbers stated on the 1871 census but seem to be at this number along the street. In the Jones's 1865 Mercantile Directory of the Iron District of South Staffordshire and East Worcestershire, John is classed as John Guest junr., Butcher, Alcester Street. In the 1872 Post Office Directory John was Butcher, Alcester Street.
Wife Eliza (35). On the 1871 census they lived at 12 Alcester Street. On the 1891 census they lived at 4 Alcester Street. In the 1884 Kelly's Directory they lived at 12 Alcester Street but by the 1888 Kelly's Directory they were living at 4 Alcester Street.
Wife Mary (28) Needle Sticker plus 4 daughters at home. On the 1901 census they lived 31 Red Lion Street, Redditch. In the 1888, 1892 & 1896 Kelly's Directories George was a Hairdresser, 12 Alcester Street.
In Occupation but uninhabited. The enumerator had this as Red Lion Street but fairly sure it should have been Alcester Street.
