In the 1860 Post Office Directory Benjamin was classed as Baker and Miller, Alcester Street. In the 1870 Kelly's Directory Benjamin is classed as Baker and Corn Chandler, Alcester Street. Benjamin died 16th September 1901.

On the 1881 census their son Arthur George lived at 43 Alcester Street. Arthur George Snr. died 27th June 1866.

In the Jones's 1865 Mercantile Directory of the Iron District of South Staffordshire and East Worcestershire John was classed as John Guest, Grocer, Tobacconist and ale and porter merchant, Alcester Street. John was the licensee of the "Rising Sun" 1841-1864.

In the 1870 Kelly's Directory Joseph was classed as Cabinet Maker and Upholsterer, Unicorn Hill, Redditch. (according to "Old Redditch Pubs" by Alan Foxall, Joseph advertised in 1861 stating that he was at the "Queens Head" Alcester Street but no other evidence of there being such a Public House has been found) Joseph died 16th March 1901 and lived in Bromsgrove Road, Redditch.

(On the 1861 census the enumerator finished at this house and it was classed as the end of District 5) On the 1871 census Jane is now a widow and Beerhouse Keeper of the Nags Head which was at 25 Alcester Street and this seems to be at that number along the street but no numbers or name stated on 1861 census. On the 1851 census they lived in Chapel Green East, Redditch.

On the 1871 census Rowland and Ellen lived in Wavertree, Lancashire.

On the 1851 census Henry and Sarah lived in Kings Norton. In the 1865 Jones Mercantile Directory of the Iron District had the "Fox & Goose" in Church Green South. Henry died 2nd April 1869 and was Innkeeper from Redditch.

The "Fox & Goose on later census was classed as being in earlier census Market Place but on the earlier census should have been in Chapel Green as possibly this house should have been. (On the 1861 census the enumerator finished at this house along Alcester Street before Chapel Green) On the 1871 census Hannah was living with her daughter Lucy in Handsworth.
