On the 1871 census Charles lived with his parents John and Sarah in Alcester Street but no numbers on the early census and then on the 1891 census Charles and family lived in Oswald Street, Redditch. At the time of his death 17th January 1908 Charles lived in Evesham Street.
Wife Ann (55) plus 3 working sons at home. On the 1881 census they lived in Walford Street, Redditch and George was a Shopkeeper. On the 1901 census they lived in Foregate Street in Feckenhm and George was the Innkeeper of the Oddfellows Arms and their son Arthur Charles lived at 43 Alcester Street.

Wife Ada (Hemming) (28) plus 2 young children. On the 1891 census Ernest lived with his parents John and Annie in Mount Pleasant, Redditch. In the 1900 Kelly's Directory a Harry Chambers, Hairdresser was at this address.
Wife Kate Elizabeth (26) On the 1901 census Fred lived with his parents James and Elizabeth in Feckenham.
On the 1901 & 1911 census Ralph lived with his parents Augustine and Sarah Elizabeth at 111 Evesham Street and at that time Ralph had been (14) Needle Manufacturers Office Clerk.
Shop, empty and boarded up in the late 1960's directly in front of Hillside Cottage and the Gospel Hall site. Was demolished to make way for second phase of the town development.
