Callow Hill Farmhouse in Callow Hill was built in the 1750s.

It was restored in the 1980s brought it up to date and the house, situated in Callow Hill Lane, enjoys some grand views from the top floor bedrooms.

CALLOW FARM in Angel Street, of some 20 acres, was in the hands of a branch of the Tongue family, Walter Tongue before WW1, and then his son Jack and his wife Susie and their daughter Dorothy up to WW2. In recent years it has become an equestrian centre.
