COMMON BARN FARM, also known as Barnhouse Farm in the early 1900s, was apparently so-called because the barn attached to the house was used to provide extra accommodation, which must make it one of the earliest barn conversions. It was a small dairy farm in 1906. Today it provides stabling for members of the riding community.
