In documentation, and in speaking to older Redditch residents who know this property, it appears it was once known as Pheasant Farm, as well as Oakenshaw Farm just before being lost to the New Town development.
The farm was located, where the underpass from Tesco to Greenlands is today, and a small lane ran from opposite Yvonne Road in Crabbs Cross to Oakenshaw Road in Greenlands, in which modern Oakenshaw lies upon.

Ken Dawe also had memories of Oakenshaw Farm, or Pheasant Farm as they knew it, having once lived there. He kindly gave us the following three photographs. The two people in the third photograph are unknown.
J Whittington also gave us the two photographs below also of Pheasant Farm as. They are documented as taken at Easter 1952 when the farmer was Mr. Shufflebotham.
