Commemorating ISTEL at Grosvenor House
At one time, the name ISTEL was on nearly every office block in Redditch.
However, Grosvenor House was the head quarters of ISTEL and will ever be associated with ISTEL.
It was therefore appropriate that when considering the location foe a lasting commemorating plaque to remember ISTEL, Grosvenor House the only choice
The Blue Plaque was funded by a grant from Redditch Borough Council's ReNEW programme and on Saturday 14th December 2024 it was officially unveiled.
This section of the web site records the events of that historic day for ISTEL and for Redditch.
