Artefacts & Memorabilia play an important role in recording history.
No only do they record important events, people and activities but they also stimulate memories of the day-to-day events we experienced as normal working days.
We are pleased that many Ex ISTEL employees have donated many memorabilia items to our collection to form a detail archive of the history of ISTEL.
We are very pleased that John Leighfield CBE, founder and former Chairman and Chief Executive of ISTEL, has donated his private collection of ISTEL artefacts and memorabilia to this group for inclusion in this web site.
This collection is so important to the history of ISTEL that once documented, the collection will be donated to the British Motor Museum at Gaydon to ensure that it secure and available for future generations to study and enjoy.
