The notion that "All publicity is good publicity" is usually attributed to the 19th century circus owner, Phineas T. Barnum. It is a theory that has journeyed on the road from aphorism to trope and all the way to becoming a cliché.

Pundits have long argued if this is true or not.   In the course of this project we have research many sources of ISTEL publicity, mainly found in Newspapers and trade publication and in this section we present our findings.

You must judge for yourself if it is good or bad.
