The ISTEL Story
The data on this site has been collected , catalogued and presented as part of a project to ensure that the name ISTEL, and the part the company bearing that name, played in the development of Redditch New Town.
As part of this project, an exhibition was held in Redditch Library on the 7th September 2024 to present a summary of the project findings.
In this section we present on the first page a display based upon the information displayed at that exhibition.
We have also taken the opportunity to compile into a book this same information, and other material collected. That bok is still being written but the work done so far is presented on the second page.
In due course, when the book is completed, we hope to make it available to interested people for a modest charge.
