NextBackAnnie Mildred. Hannah outside her Grocery Shop on Evesham Road, Crabbs Cross opposite the Fleece Inn. Before 1924 the shop was run by Joe Styler, his brother Alf owned a farm on the Slough.
In 1924, Hanna Elizabeth Hicks took over the shop when her husband died. Her daughters Annie Mildred and Nell also worked in the shop selling patent medicines, sweets and groceries.
