NextBackMargaret Place in fact was located at the junction of Queen Street and Victoria Street. Note the lamp post by the front wall which actually marks the corner shared by the two streets. The Place was something of an ‘upper crust’ terrace in as much that the houses had a front garden in contrast to the rather more modest dwellings in Peakman Street and Wellington Street.
