Moving To Redditch
NextBackIn 1950 when we moved to Redditch to Dolphin Road, it was idyllic for me. Our aluminium bungalow provided by my Father's firm for the workers backed onto the lovely River Arrow, with stately ash trees and alders bordering its banks. Beyond were lovely fields reached by the bridge over the river and Beoley Paper Mill and the mill pond with swans, Jack and Jill. My dog and I enjoyed wonderful walks and play there. Many games pretending to be film stars on the bridge over the Arrow for my friends Wendy, Sheila and Self.
