3rd Battalion Worcestershire Regiment
Birmingham Daily Post – Saturday 29th May 1915 - Private J. Leslie Stanley, Other Road, Redditch, who has been serving with the 3rd Worcestershire Regiment, has been wounded and is in hospital at Bournbrook. On one occasion his life was saved through a bullet deflected by a tin box in his pocket.
