The Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Redditch Messenger – Saturday 22nd April 1916 - The late Lieut.-Colonel Richard C. B. Throckmorton, of the Wilts Regiment, who was killed in action recently, was the son of Captain Richard A. Throckmorton, and nephew of Sir William Throckmorton, Bart., of Coughton Court, near Alcester.
