He was born and resided in Studley and enlisted in Stratford-on-Avon.
Birmingham Daily Post – Wednesday 11th July 1917 - He was found drowned in pool near his home while on furlough. For many years he worked at Parkwood Mills, Redditch, and was a well-known cricketer and footballer.
