The Air Crew Europe Star Campaign medal of the British Commonwealth was awarded to Ronald Sidney Williams for service in World War Two.  The Distinguished Flying Cross was presented to Ronald Sidney Williams for an act or acts of valour, courage or devotion to duty whilst flying in active operations against the enemy.

The recipient, Ronald Sidney Williams as an owner of the Distinguished Flying Cross is entitled to use the letters D.F.C. after his name.
