Welcome to the Redditch Virtual Museum.
This site displays Local History and Cultural information about Redditch which has been collected over a number of years from many sources.
To help you navigate and find information that interests you the displays have been grouped into "Galleries" , each gallery represent a specific area of local history.
Within each Gallery there are again specific "Topics" which in turn contain detailed display of data relating to that topic.
Many of the topics included have come from specific projects undertaken over the last fifteen year by individual and group who have a special interest in that topic.
These projects are repersented by special "Featured" Galleries.

We fully acknowledge both the source and copyright of that information that is displayed on this site.
We have accepted and published this information in good faith but recognise that individuals who have provided this data may not always be one hundred percent correct in their analysis or transcription of the data they have published. We therefor welcome any input which seek to improved the data which is currently presented.
Similarly, we can only present the information we have collected or data that has been donated to us and we know that this is not a complete and comprehensive account of Redditch History. There are many topics, gaps and events which are not represented on the site so we welcome both correction and additions to data already include and the donation of addition data to fill in the gaps we know we have.
Therefore please accept what we have done so far rather than criticise what we have not yet included. Please helpus fill these gaps if you have access to data on topics which are missing from our work so far.
