plus HG Herrington who was the general manager of the whole of High Duty Alloys.

The next day "The Times' devoted nearly a full column to the opening, while the top
industry journal, ('The Aeroplane') filled four pages. Ten months after construction began,
the factory was fully at work although as stated some buildings had been ready by early
July and light forging began soon after.
