Walter Humphries aged 43, Boot maker lived at 15 Evesham Street. Wife Emma (42) plus
their children William aged 13, scholar, Ellen E. aged 11, scholar, Annie aged 9, scholar,
Lillian aged 8, scholar, Adeline aged 5, scholar and Walter’s Mother Betsy aged 79,
Annuitant.
In the 1880 Directory of Worcestershire Walter was classed as Shoemaker, Evesham Street.
In the 1884 & 1888 Kelly's Directory Walter is classed as Walter Humphries and Son,
Shoemakers, 15 Evesham Street.
Betsy Humphries died in 1883 in the Bromsgrove District.
Walter Humphries aged 53, Pastor of Congregational, lived with his wife Emma, aged 52
and their daughter Adeline aged 15, a pupil teacher. They lived in Balsham, Cambridgeshire
