New Town Statistics
Over a twenty-one year period from 1964 to 1985 the face of Redditch was changed
forever. The population trebled and houses, jobs, factories and the town infrastructure
was developed and expanded to meet that increase in populations.
The following statistics taken from the Development Corporations own figures show the
extent of those changes.
