The main concourse in Kingfisher Centre, (first phase of the redevelopment of Redditch
town centre). A feature of this seating area, which is mid-way along the covered and
air- conditioned shopping mall, is the "hanging garden". The mall itself has direct
connections to a multi-storey car park and, via escalators and lifts, to the Transport
Interchange (bus and rail stations and taxi-rank) The shopping centre contains
Sainsburys, Boots, Hal fords, Dorothy Perkins, Co-op, International Stores and others,
and a pub called The Swinging Sporran, all on one level.
