Electric lighting, with a gas stand-by service is adopted
throughout, and there is an effectual installation of fire
hydrants and water sprinklers. The theatre is upholstered,
decorated and furnished in the prevailing taste and luxurious
manner by Messrs. Wolfe and Hollander, Tottenham Court
Road, London.
Structurally, and in its general arrangements and style of
equipment and furnishing, the Redditch Palace is a replica of
the best and most recently-built London theatre. Briefly, it is
a modern and thoroughly up-to-date theatre, conveniently
arranged and luxuriously furnished.
The workmen who built the Palace pose for the
camera outside its main entrance prior to the
opening.
