Illusionist brings his mind boggling show to Redditch - 2016

A WORLD renowned illusionist is bringing wonderment and joy back into the lives of
Redditch residents with his mind boggling show at The Palace Theatre.
Sean Alexander, The Confusionist will hit the stage on Thursday (February 18) at 7.30pm
with his performance which promises to have the psychological aspects of Derren Brown
along with the close up magic of Dynamo.
This will be the 38-year-old’s first major UK tour despite having performed all across the
globe. The audience should expect the get involved in this night of magic with each illusion
building up to the main finale event.
He said: “I am really looking forward to performing at the Palace theatre, it is such a
               beautiful space.”
Some town’s people may recognise Sean from his appearance on Britain’s Got talent in 2008
where he dazzled the judges and Pierce Morgan himself said it was one of the best magic
               acts he has ever seen.
“Magic is having a bit of a revival at the moment on TV with shows airing more and more
high quality acts which is great,” he added. “It breaths new life into our art form.
“It is the only art that creates incredible astonishment and thought. That astonishment can
then leave them still thinking about it months later.”
There is a psychological edge to the show which builds up to a particular moment at the end
where there is a big reveal and the show comes full circle.
“We lose a lot of that wonderment as we get older but this show brings out the inner child
               out in all of us.
Hopefully the audience will be left contemplating ‘How on Earth did he do that’.”
