On the following pages are photographs taken from Ernie’s own scrap book which he
kept recording his exploits in the demotion trade. They show that his expertise was in
demand all over the county and not just in Redditch.
Along with the photographs in the collection, there were local newspapers kept by Ernie
containing reports of his work.
