Fleece Inn had beautiful green tiling frontage.

Large Co-op stores George Street round to Evesham Street.  I purchased a brooch in 1949 which I still have.

Congregation Church which I attended from 1936 as an infant and became a Sunday School teacher in 1947 to the class of 4/5 year olds.

London Central Meat Co., Mom bought her meat ration from there.  Sausage and offal did not require coupons so we often bought them from “under-the-counter”.

Worcester Road, off Evesham Street – Temperance Hall renamed Kingfisher when converted into a canteen-style restaurant where my Mom, young sister and I went for our week-day lunches to eke-out our rationed food.
