Holyoakes Field Sunday School

Holyoakes Field Sunday School, pictured outside Bridge Street School near to Edward Street and Britten Street.

We met in the Bridge Street School, Holyoakes Field, next to a Chapel which was an off shoot of St Stephens Church Sunday School.  In the photograph I remenber:

2nd from left back me, Margaret Gwillam (now Taylor) – Teacher

3rd from left Miss Lily Davies, well known School Superintendant - Teacher at St Stephens Infants, kept a newspaper shop with her mother in Church Green East.

7th from left a little boy in blazer, striped tie and cap is Peter Williams, son of the then vicar of St Stephens, Redditch, Rev. J. C. Williams.
