Wellington Street - East side

The corner shop was in Peakman St rather than Wellington St. Above the double doors at the centre of the picture was a commemorative stone for Wellington Place(shown in greater detail in the next picture. The doors to Wellington Place actually lead to one of the Redditch ‘yards’. 1 and 3 mark the first two houses on the Eastern Pavement. The Sealey family lived at 1 and the Blicks at 3. I have never yet managed to locate No 5! The car is a Reliant Regal (not Robin!) and tends to support the date of the picture.
