               The Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Redditch Messenger – Saturday 27

               Tardebigge – Concert – The members of the Royal Anteduluvian Order of Buffaloes
               (Redditch) gave and enjoyable concert at the Tardebigge Hall on Saturday, which was much
               appreciated by the wounded soldiers.  The programme was as follows:- Pianoforte overture,
               “Blendfiavest,” Mr A. Avery; song, “Boys of the Old Brigade,” Mr V. Treadgold; song, “When
               the leaves are tinged with gold,” Mr Mazey; song, “May I be allowed to suggest,” Mr
               Bargen; duet, “The Battle Eve,” Messrs. Smith and Avery; ventiloquial turn, Mr E. Johnson;
               song, “Sunshine of your Smile,” Mr Sturges; comic song, Mr Millward; song, “Eileen
               Alannah,” Mr Peters; song, “They built Piccadilly for me,” Mr Clements; song, “I want to see
               the war all over,” Mr Clements; quartette, “The Soldier’s Farewell,” Messrs. Avery, Smith,
               Treadgold, and Peters; finale, “National Anthem,” with special chorus.  The commandant,
               Miss Walford expressed thanks for the kindness of the singers and those who had given
               assistance.
