The Fuse Nightclub, Church Road 2006

In 2001 Luminar Leisure Limited
bought property from Millennium
Leisure and the site of the Gala
Bingo Hall, which had been empty
for several years, was part of the
package. The Time Nightclub was
opened in March 2002. It re-opened
in 2005 under the new name of
Club Fuse¹⁸ after a makeover that
included a new dance floor and new
sound system. In November 2011
Fuse closed after Luminar went into
administration. The building was
taken over by the owners of the
existing Market Place club Bar Fever
and around half a million pounds
was spent on refurbishment. It was
renamed Club Moo Moo and opened
in 2012.¹⁹
In 2017 the building was demolished in preparation for the building of residential properties.
