The Redditch Local History Society’s aims are to investigate, document and
promote the history of Redditch and the surrounding area.

The Society meets monthly to share information amongst members and with a
presentation of local history interest.

Special interest projects are run by individual members but all members are
encouraged to participate in those that interest them.

Throughout the year the Society mounts local history exhibitions and supports many
local community events.

is the monthly Newsletter of the society containing
meeting reports, news stories, comment and details of the society’s activities. It is
circulated electronically to members and local officials, heritage professionals and

residents who share an interest in the history and heritage of the town.

The Society maintains a number of web sites, each focused on a specific area of its
activities.

The aim of the site is to promote walks related to Redditch history and

existing historical artefacts and buildings.
