Sleeping Beauty set to smash records – December 2012

This year’s Palace Panto is on course to break box office records with tickets selling fast.
Sleeping Beauty, starring Maureen Nolan as the Evil Carabosse, is currently in its second
week of a four week run at the Alcester Street theatre and already more than 13,800 people
have snapped up a ticket to see the show – 73 per cent of the seats available.

RESIDENTS are being invited to a show with a difference later this month at the Palace
Theatre.
Seasons of Love is a musical review by Redditch Operatic Society based around the four
seasons of the year, finishing with the group celebrating Christmas in May.
The show is filled with a wide variety of songs and complemented by excellent choreography.
Vicky Khawaja, from the operatic society, said: “We celebrated summer in November, so
now we’re celebrating Christmas in May.”
The show runs at the Palace Theatre from Thursday, May 23 to Saturday, May 25.
