NextBackOn the corner of Walford Street was Hopkins the Jeweller, full of sparkling rings, watches and everything else you expect to see in such a shop. If I remember rightly I think Mr Robinson the proprietor lived at the posh end of Park Road. I laid a new lawn for him in my youth when I set up as a landscape gardener for a period of my mis-spent youth.
