Redditch Heritage My Palace Theatre and other Memories

I was then called up for National Service and served two years in the RAF.

On returning, I set up my own small business as a jobbing builder and operated

for the next twenty years. I next took a job as a general foreman for H Edmunds
and Son, Dudley, and was involved in constructing the last sixty council houses

for Redditch Council before the Development Corporation took over the house
building. They were in parts of Throckmorton Road, Auxerre Avenue, Dowlers
Hill Crescent and Wharrington Close.
