Foxlydiate Man Killed – Mr and Mrs Clayton, of Tack Cottage, Foxlydiate, have
received official information that their son Lance-corporal W. Clayton, of the Worcestershire

Regiment, was killed in action on August 25 , last. The deceased non-commissioned officer
was 22 years of age.
