Redditch Record – The Redditch artillery, now on service at the front, has a particularly
fine record. Four of its number have gained D.C.M.’s and six have received Military Medals.
The D.C.M.’s are Sergt. W. T. Clarke, Super B. P. Newman, B.S.M. R. Heath, and Private F.
Ampell. Those holding the Military Cross are Sergt. H. Aston, Corpl. Spencer,Corpl H.
Whitford, Gunner R. Munn, Gunner Swift, and Gunner J. Smith
