to be the only solution of the difficulty. It will be an uphill struggle, there are many pitfalls in
the way, there will be much dislocation, but we shall make the best of whatever situation
arises if we realise that we need the same unity of spirit and the same determination which
won the war. Every man and every woman must still “carry on” to the best of his or her
ability.
