Correction - On May 11 it was announced that Private F. T. Blick, Worcestershire
Regiment of Redditch, had been killed in action. His parents this week received a post-card
from Private Blick stating that he is a prisoner in Germany.

Foxlydiate Military Medallist Wounded – Last week we stated that Lance-
Corporal Bird had been awarded the Military Medal for gallantry at the front. Mrs Bird, who
lives at the Post Office, Foxlydate, has been informed that since the award her husband,
Lance-Corporal Bird, has been wounded. His officer speaks highly of the work he did, and for
               which the medal was given.
