Officer’s Gratitude – Redditch Soldier’s Reported Good Fortune – A windfall is reported
to have fallen to William Henry Freeman, of Arrow Road, Redditch as a result of devotion to
a wounded officer on the battlefield of Armentieres.
(On 1911 census William Henry Freeman aged 15, Errand Boy, lived with his parents, James and Annie Freeman
at 57 Arrow Road, Redditch.)
