War Memorial – At a meeting of the Urban District Council, the Chairman (Mr A. C.
Millward) referred to the County War Memorial meeting at Worcester. He now stated that
he informed Mr Willis Bund (the Chairman) that Redditch would have a memorial of its own,
and it would be much easier to get subscriptions for this than for a county memorial.
