Church Road Redditch Heritage
The building is one of the oldest buildings surviving in the town centre, and dates back to the
mid-18th century with mid-19th century and mid-20th century alterations.
11 CHURCH ROAD is now occupied by Back Up Staff Ltd. and the building has been named Joshua
House. It was a gentleman’s club built about 1870. There was an upstairs billiard room, a card
room and a bar. The house later became the offices of Neasom and White.48
Early trade directories indicate that Neasom and White, auctioneers, and Browning, solicitors, had
premises in Church Road.
