The HISTORY of REDDITCH New Town
One of the underlying factors affecting all of the
planning was the population increase and
distribution across the New Town.
Early in the planning of the New Town, projected
population distribution was plotted across the
planned town.
The target population was set at 80,000 by the
end of development. The graph below shows it
did not quite reach that figure.
