its new production of South Pacific. - 2006
REDDITCH Operatic Society is sailing through its new production of South Pacific at the newly
refurbished Palace Theatre.

as Nellie Forbush and Steve Sidaway as Lt Joseph Cable.
The society's version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical of love and war is set to be
staged from Tuesday to Saturday, November 18.
Set on a tropical island in the South Seas during World War II, the lavish production includes
well loved songs such as Happy Talk, There Is Nothing LIke a Dame and I'm Gonna Wash
That Man Right Out of My Hair.
More than 50 actors and an 18-piece orchestra will perform the play each night from
7.30pm.
There will be a matinee performance on the Saturday at 2.30pm.
