Dot Dudley was a councillor in her home ward of
Batchley from 1997 to 2008. She also stood as a
Worcestershire County Councillor for Redditch North
from 2005 until 2009. She had been Chairman of
Batchley Residents Association, governor of
Pitcheroak School and Batchley First School. At the
time of becoming Mayor she had been on the council
for five years.
