Redditch’s last Fish Hook maker 1939 - 2013

Vincent Green was the last fishhook maker in Vince Green
Redditch. He founded Sprite Fish Hooks in 1974 and (Source: Anthony Green)
made fish hooks up to his death in 2013.

Vince was active in the Redditch Local History
Society and he gave some interesting presentations
to the group using the photographs he had taken of
Redditch before the New Town development. He was
also a very active member of the Redditch Music
Society, a keen cyclist and cycling club member, keen
walker, photographer, and built and flew radio
controlled model aircraft.
