               1914, Western European Theatre.  Mentioned on La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial, France.
               He enlisted for a short service attestation in 1904 at the age of 18 in the Worcestershire
               Regiment, Service No 8919 and had been a Fish Hook Maker.
