War Relief Fund – The Redditch and District War Relief Fund amounts to £937.0s.11d. –
War Relief Fund – In accordance with a request from the Local Government Board, a
representative committee has been formed for the area covered by the Feckenham Rural
District Council (except the Hunt End Ward) to make arrangements for the raising of a war
relief fund. Contributions to the fund, unless earmarked by the donors, will be retained for
the relief of distress caused by the war in the locality, but the Finance Committee have been
empowered to make grants to the National War Relief Fund. Mr H. E. Perkins is chairman of
the committee, Mr E. Dyer (Clerk of the Feckenham Rural District Council) hon. secretary, and
Mr R. J. Miller, Capital and Counties Bank, Redditch is hon. treasurer. Up to Thursday the
contributions amounted to £19.3s.
