               A Week-End at Redditch – To-morrow morning the Royal Engineers Signal Company,
               under the command of Major Dickenson, will march to Redditch for the week-end.  The
               company will leave the Barracks, Great Brook Street, at 9.45 a.m., and will pass through the
               following districts at the times stated; Northfield, 11.45 a.m., Hopwood, 1.30 p.m.,
               Alvechurch, 2.30 p.m.  The Joint R.E. and R.A.M.C. Band will accompany the unit.

               The objects of the route march are to practise the men in marching and to assist the smaller
               towns and villages in recruiting.  The (Reserve) Signal Company has only a few vacancies, as
               the War Office will allow only 50 per cent of the men will parade at 9 a.m. for drill at Hewell
               park, and at 3 p.m., assisted by a local band they will have a recruiting parade, after which,
               at 4.45 p.m., speeches will be made by members of the recruiting committee.
