               Casualties – Private D. G. Clayton (Royal Warwicks) died from wounds, joined when he
               was 16½ years of age, and was 19 when he died.  Three other brothers are in the Army, two
               in France.

               Warwickshire Regiment, born in Redditch and resided in Studley, enlisted in Birmingham,

               died of wounds, 8  September 1917, Belgium.  Awarded the British War Medal and Victory
               Medal.)

               Private Albert Bradley (Worcesters), of Redditch, killed in action was 31 years of age.

               Worcestershire Regiment, born and enlisted in Redditch, killed in action, 16  August 1917,
               Western European Theatre.  Remembered on Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Belgium.)









                                                Private Albert Harding Bradley
               Remembered on St Stephen’s and St George’s war memorials, Redditch.
               (On the 1911 census Albert Bradley, aged 25, Brass Polisher, lived with his parents, George and Elizabeth
               Bradley, 20 Prospect Road, Redditch.)

               Gunner C. E. Wilkes (R.F.A.), of Redditch, killed in action, was 27 years of age, and has served
               in the Army prior to this war.  He leaves a widow and four children.  Four of the deceased’s
               brothers are serving in the Army.

               Artillery and Royal Field Artillery, resided and enlisted in Redditch, killed in action, 16
               August 1917, Western European Theatre.)
